PM of Nepal KP Sharma Oli and Chinese FM Wang Yi talks on bilateral interests
Kathmandu. Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi met Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli today. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Prime Minister of Nepal Oli at his residence Baluwatar after foreign ministerial meeting was concluded this afternoon.
During their meeting Prime Minister Oli and Foreign Minister Yi’s talks concern on bilateral ties, interest and relation between two countries. Before meeting today, Nepal and China had signed three agreements after conclusion of ministerial meeting.
Three MoU were signed in the presence of both of Foreign Ministers of China and Nepal at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu. MoU were exchanged by officials of Nepal and China in the presence of Nepalese Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
According to the agreement, China will build a hospital at Manang District. The Chinese side had also signed agreement to provide 5,000 tents to the Ministry of Home Affairs of Nepal for emergency services. Chinese Foreign Minister Yi, who arrived in Nepal on Sunday will also met President Bidhya Devi Bhandari today.
Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi will meet Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba. Yi will also meet Former PM and Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday. He is scheduled to return home on Tuesday.
Minister for Foreign Affairs and State Councilor of China Wang Yi had arrived Kathmandu yesterday from Islamabad for his three days Nepal visit after completion of China-Afghanitan-Pakistan Foreign Ministerial meeting.
