BJP Leader Jolly Apprise Delhi Chief Secretary on Sangam Vihar Pollution & Development
South Delhi. Ex-South Delhi BJP MLA Vijay Jolly today met Delhi Govt. Chief Secretary Vijay Dev & apprised him on dangerous level of pollution prevailing in Sangam Vihar. BJP leader Jolly met Delhi Chief Secretary at Delhi Assembly Secretariat at ITO, New Delhi .
It may be recalled that Sangam Vihar is the largest Unauthorized colony in South Delhi inhabited by more than 10 lakh poor but hard working citizens.
They stand to gain now in terms of civic developments after BJP & PM Modi led central govt. through a legislation in Lok Sabha passed a bill to confer legal status on 1731 all such colonies in Delhi stated Leader Jolly.
BJP leader Vijay Jolly specifically pointed out dangerous level of pollution generated in Sangam Vihar by strewn garbage in & around Mohalla Clinic on main M.B. Road, Sangam Vihar opposite Batra Hospital in South Delhi.
Jolly demanded it’s removal immediately within the next 72 hours by JCB’s to Save Sangam Vihar Citizens from dangerous level of pollution fumes and air quality. Jolly also demanded Delhi Govt to plant green saplings in the cleaned -up area to “STOP SPREAD of POLLUTION in SANGAM VIHAR”.
Citizens of the area have reportedly been afflicted by various diseases due to this problem in Sangam Vihar alleged BJP leader Vijay Jolly.
Delayed DJB sewer project on Ratia Marg and Mangal Bazar Road along with severe water scarcity in Sangam Vihar was also vociferously raised by Ex- BJP MLA Vijay Jolly in his meeting with Delhi Chief Secretary lasting half an hour today. Jolly was assured remedial action soon on behalf of Delhi Govt by Chief Secretary.
