MD Abdur Rahman’Dhaka. Peelkhana Tragedy Day today. Separate news releases sent to the media from the BGB and the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed various programs.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and army headquarters have taken various programs on the occasion of the day.
The brutal massacre took place at BDR (Bangladesh Rifles) and now at the BGB headquarters, Peelkhana,2009 on February 25and 26. During the two days, some of the strayed BDR members brutally killed 57army officers and 17 more, including women and children.
The ISPR said the martyrdom anniversary of the martyred army members would be observed in the brutal killing of the Pilkhana. A floral wreath will be laid at 9o’clock in the morning at the grave of the martyred soldiers at the Banani Military Cemetery.
A press release sent from the BGB headquarters, Pilkhana, said that the program had been initiated to commemorate the martyrs in the Pilkhana massacre on February 25 and 26. According to the program of the day, the Qur’an will be abolished in the management of all the Regions, Sectors, Institutions and Units including the BGB headquarters at Peelkhana at the begging of the martyr’s soul. In all mosques of BGB and BOP stage, prayers and Milad Mahfil have been arranged to seek the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs.
Under the management of the army, on February 25 (Tuesday) at 9 am, the President’s Representative, the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, the heads of the three forces (collectively), the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Bijib Shahapachat Mahaprakit Mahaprakht Mahaprakit Mahaprakht Mahaprakht Mahaprakht Mahaprakant. Today the BGB flag will be semi-formal and all BGB members will wear black badges.
