Kalikot. Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that the demand for restoration of the dissolved parliament is reactionary.

Addressing a public meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (NCP) in Kalikot, he said that it was reactionary to demand that the parliament should be restored in the current situation.

He said that the constitution had made a clear legal provision for the dissolution of the parliament by the Prime Minister and that was a revolutionary step after the Prime Minister was not allowed to work.

Home Minister Thapa urged all political parties to be ready for the fresh mandate as elections have already been announced.
