NOC made public the names of Nepali team for the Summer Olympics

This time, Nepal will participate in swimming, athletics, shooting and judo.  Gaurika Singh and Alexander Gaddimad Shah of swimming, Kalpana Pariyar of shooting, Suniya Bhatt of judo and Saraswati Chaudhary of athletics are among the participants from Nepal.

Kathmandu. Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) has made public the names of the Nepali team for the Summer Olympics to be held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.

The Nepali team was announced at a press conference held at NOC on Tuesday. The team will have 26 persons including five players, coaches, officials and representatives.

Secretary member of the National Sports Council (NSC) Ramesh Kumar Silwal will represent from Nepal as ‘Safe the Mission’.

This time, Nepal will participate in swimming, athletics, shooting and judo.  Gaurika Singh and Alexander Gaddimad Shah of swimming, Kalpana Pariyar of shooting, Suniya Bhatt of judo and Saraswati Chaudhary of athletics are among the participants from Nepal.

Out of which, two swimmers and one athlete will participate in the game under ‘Universality Place’. The other two players are participating on the basis of wild card.

    Pls. Ask NOC why 6th player Palesha Goverdhan not invited to any functions organized by NOC. Is this discrimination due to physical disability.. Give their team big thanks for doing this.
