Kathmandu. The SAAF Championship, the highest competition of South Asian football, will be held in Maldives. A meeting of the South Asian Football Confederation (SAF) on Monday decided to hold the SAF in the Maldives in October.
Currently, it has been decided to hold the tournament in Maldives from October 1 to 13, said ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar. He said there could be some changes in the schedule considering the health standards.
Even though five countries are expected to participate in the tournament, the possibility of participating of Bhutan has increased and Pakistan will not participate.
