Press Club of Agra will honor journalists of SAARC Journalist Forum

New Delhi. Press Club of Agra will honor the journalists of SAARC Journalist Forum, a group of journalists from SAARC countries. In the month of January, on the invitation of Press Club of Agra, a group of journalists from SAARC countries will participate in a one-day seminar.International President of SAARC Journalists Forum Raju Lama and President of India Anirudh Sudhanshu have given their consent and expressed their gratitude to Ashok Agnihotri, President of Press Club of Agra.

Before becoming a part of this seminar organized in Agra, SAARC Journalists Forum and Department of Hindi will be part of the International Journalists Conference to be held under the joint aegis of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College. Journalists from across the country including Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Maldives and Afghanistan are expected to attend the conference. Khalsa College Principal Jaswinder Singh said that this would probably be the first event in this university in which journalists from India and abroad would gather on one platform.Through this event, the continuous changes in the field of journalism in the country and abroad will also be highlighted and India will also be famous. We welcome everyone as an organizer and assure full cooperation. SAARC India’s President Anirudh Sudhanshu said that the challenges faced by journalists in India and Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan will also be known by the presence of journalists from SAARC countries. The objective of the conference is to bring journalists on a single platform and raise the question of protecting journalistic interests.Program coordinator Smita Mishra says that this is a good opportunity for college students and teachers to know what are the challenges facing them regarding journalism education and how they can be overcome. Senior Vice President of the organization MH Zakaria has congratulated in advance for the program and has asked for every kind of cooperation.
