SJF condemned explosion targeting journalists in Afghanistan

"SJF demand Afghan government to take immidiate action to culprits who were involved in these kinds of explosion and urge to take initiation to stop these kinds of inhumanity incident. We requests Afghan government to arrange free and needed treatment for all along with injured journalist in the incident," said in the statement released by SJF headquarters.

Kathmandu/Dhaka. SAARC Journalist Forum condemn against the incident of explosion occurred in Afghanistan. SAARC Journalist Forum issued a press statement and said, “Member of SAARC Journalist Forum Afghanistan Chapter Abdul Saboor Sirat was injured in an explosion today. SAARC Journalist Forum is so sad to know that our member Abdul Saboor Sirat has been injured due to the explosion.”Press Statement released by SJF President Raju Lama and Secretary General MD Abdur Rahman stated, “At 11 o’clock today during an explosion in a cultural center in Mazar-i-Sharif city in the north of Afghanistan, 4 people were killed and 16 including member of SJF Afghanistan chapter Abdul Saboor Sirat, were injured.”

The health condition of the injured, including Mr. Sirat is currently good. We wish quick recovery to our friend Abdul Saboor Sirat and we extend Rest in Peace to the great soul who has been died during the explosion, said in statement.SJF said, SAARC Journalist Forum condemn the inhumanity incident occurred in the Afghanistan and want to urge Afghan government to took these kinds of incidents seriously and stop not to repeat in the future.“SJF demand Afghan government to take immidiate action to culprits who were involved in these kinds of explosion and urge to take initiation to stop these kinds of inhumanity incident. We requests Afghan government to arrange free and needed treatment for all along with injured journalist in the incident,” said in the statement released by SJF headquarters.
