Apart from India, South Asian nations and China have formally established a new organization. The China-South Asian Poverty Alleviation and Cooperation Development Center was formally established in Chongqing, China on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was addressed by Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Wu Jianghao and Ambassadors of Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to China, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>In April, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi proposed foundation of center during talks with foreign ministers from various South Asian countries on the corona epidemic. In which other countries expressed support.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being invited to the interaction, China said India did not participate. Bhutan and Maldives also did not participate in the interaction.
