CPN-UML MP Bhim Bahadur Rawal has said that the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is not in Nepal&#8217;s interest.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a special session of the House of Representatives today, Rawal said various treaties were signed when the country&#8217;s politics was unstable.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From here, I would like to say to the House and patriotic Nepalis.The agreement that has been tabled in the House. There have been other secret agreements,&#8221; he said during his address in parliament.<\/p>\n<p>He also questioned that the Former Prime Ministers released press statement previously to said that it was a sign of external interference.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nepal should not be in any military alliance but about MCC, US ministers have repeatedly said it is a military strategy,&#8221; he accused.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the provisions in it are inconsistent with the constitution and the law, Rawal has said.<!--\/data\/user\/0\/com.samsung.android.app.notes\/files\/clipdata\/clipdata_bodytext_210730_170445_476.sdocx--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
