On Wednesday (December 14), RSF published the report on its own website. It is said that 533 journalists have been sentenced to prison in the world so far this year. Among them 455 men and 78 women.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, 488 journalists were sentenced to prison worldwide. As a result, this rate increased by 13.4 percent in one year. More than half of the jailed journalists are from just five countries.
