In his first public words, Pope Leo told the faithful \u201cpeace be with all of you\u201d. He emphasised the theme of peace throughout the address.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvil will not prevail; we are in the hands of God,\u201d he told the crowd and a global audience. \u201cSo without fear, united hand in hand with God and among ourselves, we go forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you, Pope Francis,\u201d he added.
