Paul Kapur, a senior official from the United States Department of State, arrived in Kathmandu on Monday for a three-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the United States and Nepal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Kapur, who serves as Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, is expected to hold a series of high-level meetings with government leaders, policymakers, and representatives from the business community during his stay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u201cThis visit reflects the United States\u2019 continued commitment to deepening its partnership with Nepal and supporting its democratic and economic development,\u201d a U.S. Embassy spokesperson said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Officials in Kathmandu noted that the visit comes at a crucial time, as Nepal\u2019s new government seeks to expand international cooperation and attract foreign investment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">A senior official from Nepal\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, \u201cWe welcome this important engagement with the United States.
