Hajipur, September 20, 2026 – A 15-member team of international journalists visited the famous and historic Baba Pataleshwar Nath Temple in Hajipur city and visited the temple complex. The team arrived in Hajipur under the leadership of Mr. Raju Lama, International President of the SAARC Journalist Forum International, Nepal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon arrival at the temple, the visiting journalists were welcomed by the President and Secretary of the Temple Trust Committee, along with officials and members. Guests were honored with robes, flowers, books, and mementos.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, Dr. Shashi Bhushan Kumar, President of the SAARC Journalist Forum International, India Chapter Bihar, and a well-known figure in international journalism, was also honored by the Temple Trust Committee. Dr. Shashi Bhushan Kumar served as the coordinator of the event.\"\"Dr. Sangeeta Kumari, Chairperson of the Hajipur Municipal Council, welcomed the guests and expressed her gratitude to the senior Nepali journalists who had visited her city. She discussed Nepal-India relations in detail, stating that Nepal and India have always been and will always remain united in their cultural and religious interests.<\/span><\/p>\n

Temple Trust Committee Secretary Anil Chandra Kushwaha provided the international journalists with detailed information about the historical, religious, and spiritual significance of the Baba Pataleshwar Nath Temple. He briefed the guests on the temple’s traditions and religious beliefs and conducted them on a tour of the entire temple complex, visiting and observing various important sites.<\/span><\/p>\n

International journalists learned about the temple’s historical heritage, religious traditions, and local culture. Emphasis was also placed on strengthening cultural dialogue, mutual goodwill, and friendly relations between different countries through journalism.<\/span><\/p>\n

Several officials and members of the Trust Committee were present at the welcome and felicitation ceremony held at the temple complex. The arrival of international journalists at the temple was seen as an important opportunity to connect the religious and cultural identity of Hajipur with the global platform.<\/span>
