Health Ministry said third wave of Covid 19 may start from 30 September

Kathmandu. Ministry of Health has said that the third wave of coronavirus may start from September 30.

Speaking at the Education and Health Committee of the House of Representatives on Monday, Planning Division Chief of Health Ministry Dr.  Gunaraj Lohani has said that.

He also informed that 193,856 new infected people will be added in the next five months. At that time he gave a brief account of the efforts made by the government for the prevention and control of COVID-19.

Looking at the current stable situation, there is a risk of adding 193,856 new infections in five months.  Of those infected, 38,000 need to be hospitalized and 9,000 need to be treated intensively, the ministry said.
