Jammu Kashmir, Syed Mushtaq. President Ram Nath Kovind arrived here on Sunday on four-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
The officials said Kovind arrived at the Srinagar airport here at 11:15 am and was received by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and senior officers of the police and the civil administration.
On Monday, the President will pay homage to the indomitable courage and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces during the Kargil conflict in 1999 at the Kargil War Memorial Dras (Ladakh) on the 22nd anniversary of the Kargil Vijay Diwas, Statement Issued to Media said.
On July 27, he will grace and address the 19th annual convocation of the University of Kashmir in Srinagar, the statement said Media.
