Shikshalaya stands as one of Nepal’s esteemed educational monthly publications with an A-grade classification designated by the Nepalese Government. This magazine has been diligently committed to enhancing the educational landscape by consistently offering insightful content. It focuses on educational affairs, including expert opinions, interviews with education stakeholders and features on educational institutions.
It is with great pride that we highlight the 16 years tradition of Shikshalaya magazine in recognizing educational excellence through awards bestowed upon educational establishments, visionary educational leaders, as well as dedicated educators, teachers and school principals.
We are delighted to announce that this year, we are set to host the “Learning Exchange Comprehensive Educational Symposium and SAARC Education Award’ along with the 17th Educational Award ceremony in the Maldives.
The following nations are actively participating in the “Learning Exchange Comprehensive Educational Symposium and Education Award”: Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and SriLanka.This SAARC Education Award event will witness the attendance of approximately 200 education entrepreneurs from the aforementioned countries, with a representation of 35 delegates from Nepal. The program’s key objectives include:
*Fostering discussions and interactions among educational practitioners within SAARC countries. Encouraging the adoption of successful pedagogical practices observed during the symposium.
*Facilitating visits to model educational institutions in SAARC nations to learn and implement best practices.
*Showcasing the rich cultural heritage of SAARC countries.
*Promoting cultural exchange among participating nations.
*Cultivating harmonious relationships among schools across SAARC countries.
*Enabling knowledge sharing among students through technological means.We are excited about the prospects of learning, collaboration, and cultural exchange that this event promises, ultimately contributing to the advancement of education across SAARC nations.
