Dr. Lharkyal Lama has been appointed as Vice Chairman of Lumbini Development Fund

Kathmandu. Dr. Lharkyal Lama (Ven Khenpo Chimed) has been appointed as a Vice Chairman of Lumbini Development Fund. Dr. Lama who was member of both the Constituent Assembly of Nepal previously has been appointed as the Vice President of the fund.One of the Minister said that a Buddhist guru has been appointed at the vacant Vice Chairman after the five years tenure of the previous Vice Chairman Avadesh Tripathi.Lama is also the Central Secretary of International Buddhist Confederation, the highest organization of Buddhist in which Buddhists and governments around the world are involved. Lama has been appointed for five years. Dr. Lama is also a central member of CPN Maoist Center. SAARC Journalist Forum President Raju Lama congratulates Dr. Lama for his successful tenure.
