New York. Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who arrived in the United States for 78th General Assembly of the United Nations, held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
Prime Minister Dahal and Secretary-General Guterres met at the United Nations headquarters in New York as part of his diplomatic engagements during the assembly.
The Prime Minister’s delegation, which embarked on their journey to the United States on Saturday evening to participate in the General Assembly, reached New York on Sunday.
Upon his arrival at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, Prime Minister Dahal received a warm welcome from Lok Bahadur Thapa, Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
Prime Minister Dahal addressed the General Assembly on Thursday, following which he is scheduled to embark on a diplomatic visit to China today.
