Baby Chakraborty, Kolkata. Vadu singer Ratan Kahar received the Padma Shri award from the President of the country by singing the song ‘Bharloker Beti Lo Long Long Hair.’ Even after that, his financial crisis did not end. So still as before, the family has to live with what he earns by singing on the road.

Ratan Kahar has forever composed songs with material from life. The words of the song are mixed with the life of the village, the smell of the soil in the melody.

So he went from village to village and heard about the success of King Jute and sang about it. During an event, ‘Mega Field Day’ at Karimpur in Nadia, Raja sang to the farmers about the success of jute. This seed manufacturing company, Nujividu Seeds, has informed that this jute is giving the farmers an opportunity to earn an additional 10,000 rupees per acre.

This is possible due to jute’s long fibers and minimum additional production of 2 quintals per acre over other species. According to the company, Raja NJ 7005 is a new variety of jute introduced in 2020. The world of jute cultivation has changed a lot since then.

NJ-7005 This variety of Raja Pat was invented by Dr. Mohammad Masiur Rahman, Chief Scientist of Research Department of Nujividu Seeds. The cost of cultivation is lower than that of other jute, with higher yield, higher quality fiber and higher profit potential than before.

Farmers who cultivated Raja jute said that their profit has increased more than before. So they want to cultivate this seed in the future as well. Because this jute is two feet taller than other species, that means more yield, thicker bark which increases yield and fiber quality.

Hearing this, Ratan Kahar wrote a song about it. People of the village are happy to hear that song. Those who have not yet started cultivation of this seed, by hearing this song, they are also encouraged to cultivate Raja Pat.
