New Delhi. Senior BJP Leader Dr. Vijay Jolly on Tuesday slapped a legal notice on Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, AAP Uttar Pradesh unit & Sanjay Singh – AAP UP Incharge for a defamatory video tweet titled “darindo ke samman mei” on 7th Oct 2020 at 14:24 hours.

Through Advocate Tejasva Mehra, BJP leader Dr. Jolly alleged that thru its official twitter handle @AAPUttarPradesh tweeted a false, incorrect, untrue, malicious, mischievous and defamatory video publication of old news clippings of rape charges against BJP leader Dr. Vijay Jolly.

“There is no rape charge pending in any police station or court of India” stated Senior BJP Leader Dr. Vijay Jolly today. False charge was investigated by Haryana Police & I was given clean chit in Aug 2017. Later Hon’ble Court dismissed the false case in July 2019.

Dr. Jolly stated that recently after the unfortunate Hathras assault case, AAP uploaded a video & viewed by more than 13,500 members of the society. This is frivolous, derogatory & scandalous of Dr. Jolly, Bharatiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi & UP Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath etc.

This is a conspiracy of Aam Aadmi Party led by Arvind Kejriwal with the ulterior motive to tarnish the public image of BJP & its leaders stated Dr. Jolly. “This was done willfully without checking the true facts with the sole intent to tarnish my reputation and generate negative publicity against me & BJP” stated Dr. Jolly in his legal notice.

BJP Leader Dr. Jolly demanded immediate deletion /withdrawal of the said video tweet along with an unconditional apology from AAP. Failing which criminal or civil court proceedings shall be initiated within the next fifteen days.
