Kathmandu. In Nepal people celebrated the biggest festival Bada Dashain. Especially hindus of Nepal along with other people use to celebrate this festival as a victory of truth over untruth.

This is the longest Hindu festival in Nepal which is traditionally celebrated for 15 days. The festival marks the victory of the Goddess Durga over the Demon Mahisasur that means win of truth over untruth.

As part of celebrations in these days devotees visit various temples of Goddess Durga, Mahalaxmi, Mahakali, and Mahasaraswati and other deities reminiscent of power, knowledge, and wealth.

In the tenth day of Bada Dashain people take tika with blessings from their elders. In this day people travel and reach to their relatives and celebrate festival.

But this year due to COVID 19 people of Nepal are celebrating this festival within their family members.
