Kathmandu. The SAARC Journalists Forum, SJF has condemned the killing of a journalist in Panjshir, Afghanistan. Journalists have been subjected to one torture after another since the recent Taliban took over Afghanistan.
“Fahim Dashti leader of Afghanistan’s National Union of Journalist that he was dead on the battle of Panjshir. The SAARC Journalist Forum condemned the killing of a journalist leader in Afghanistan and called for justice, mentioned in press statement released by SJF.
SJF further said, “We want to appeal Taliban stop killing journalists of Afghanistan. SJF strongly condemned this incident and want to urge international community to save the life of journalists of Afghanistan for humanity.”
“Late Dashti was a member of SAARC Journalists Forum, SJF too. We will always remember Dashti for his contribution on freedom and humanity,” said in statement released by SJF President Raju Lama and Secretary General MD Abdur Rahman.
