Indian singer KK has passed away

He died on Tuesday evening while undergoing treatment for a concert in Calcutta.

Calcutta. Indian singer KK (Krishna Kumar Kunnath) has passed away. He died on Tuesday evening while undergoing treatment for a concert in Calcutta. His health deteriorated while singing at a concert in Kolkata.

He was giving a presentation at a program of Gurudas College at Nazrul Manch. He was rushed to the Medical Research Institute Hospital in Calcutta. However, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival at the hospital.

According to Indian media reports, he suffered a heart attack. However, the hospital has not yet given official information on the matter.

The 53-year-old singer had shared some glimpses of his program on social media on Tuesday. He gave a presentation on Nazrul Manch in Calcutta.

KK had arrived in Kolkata for a two-day concert. Keke’s full name is Krishna Kumar Kunnath. He sang more than 200 songs in Hindi. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others have expressed grief over his death.
