Baby Chakraborty, Kolkata. Next Thursday is Independence Day. And on the eve of this Independence Day, Suri GRP and police of Dubrajpur police station have strengthened the security system at Dubrajpur railway station to avoid terrorist acts.
Keeping in mind the safety of passengers, the entire station was searched on this day. To avoid untoward incidents and to prevent vandalism on the day of Independence Day, Siuri GRP and Dubrajpur police station jointly started strict vigilance at Dubrajpur railway station.
From this Tuesday morning, Suri GRP and police of Dubrajpur police station jointly conducted a vigorous search with metal detectors at the railway station and railway line. Suri GRP OC Shamsul Alam, Dubrajpur Police Station OC Tapai Biswas and other police personnel were present on this day.
According to Railway Police sources, this special search operation will continue till August 15 to strengthen security and prevent any kind of vandalism.
