Kathmandu. Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has arrived in Kathmandu. Mishri has come to Kathmandu at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai.
Misri, who reached Baluwatar directly from the airport to meet Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, is scheduled to meet President Ram Chandra Poudel at Sheetal Niwas.
After that, Misri will meet Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba at Budhanilkantha and Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda at Khumaltar.
After holding bilateral talks with Foreign Secretary Rai, he will also meet Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba. That evening, Secretary Rai is scheduled to host a dinner in Misri’s honor.
Misri is scheduled to return home on August 18 after visiting Pashupatinath. According to sources, the agenda of Prime Minister Oli’s visit to India will be decided in the meeting between Misri and Rai.
