Dr. Mahathir is aged 100 years and has served as Malaysia Prime Minister for total of 24 years. Born on 10th July 1925. His political career spans more than 75 years.
Twice PM of Malaysia, first from 1981 to 2003 and then again at the age of 92 years, he became Prime Minister in 2018. Now at the ripe age of 100 years, Dr Jolly found him fully fit, healthy, agile and well versed with global modern day politics.
Dr. Mahathir vociferously supported peace & dialogue on “Ukraine-Russia”, “Israel-Hamas” and “India-Pakistan” conflicts.
Dr. Jolly apprised him on the Pahalgam massacre of innocent Indian Hindu’s by Pakistan terrorists. While opposing war & bloodshed, Dr. Mahathir voiced Indian PM Modi’s past statement in Moscow that “this is not the era of wars & bloodshed”.
Dr. Jolly acknowledged that Tun Mahathir is the undisputed leader of economic reforms & growth of Malaysia.
