Siraha. Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel said that dissolving the House of Representatives and going to the polls is a compelling step of the government.
At a district level meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal, NCP Deputy Prime Minister Pokharel said that the government had decided to dissolve the parliament and go to the people.
He said there was a conspiracy to prevent the elected Prime Minister from Prachanda- Madhav group within a party from working and push the country into a serious crisis.
Claiming that the elected Prime Minister has the right to go for a fresh mandate after not being allowed to work for five years as per the mandate.
He said that no one should run away from the election as the election will strengthen the democratic republic.
Leader Pokhrel, who is also a member of the NCP Secretariat assured that there was a possibility of maintaining party unity if Prachanda withdraws the chargesheet against the Prime Minister and goes to the polls for a fresh mandate.
