Kathmandu. Program has been organized in the Kathmandu in the tribute of Indian Leader DP Tripathi on his memory.
Tripathi who played a coordinating role in supporting the democratic movement of Nepal by bringing Indian leaders to the residence of Ganeshman Singh, the supreme commander of the Jana Andolan of 2046 BS.
Nepali Congress Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi said Tripathi had unconditionally supported Nepal’s democratic movement and he was a good friend of the Nepali people.
He also said Tripathi was a multi-talented personality who was equally interested in literature. Looking at Pradip Giri, a political thinker who was present on the stage, Nidhi said that it was Giri who introduced him to Tripathi for the first time.
Nidhi expressed regret that the government had failed to honor the Indian leaders who had helped and supported Nepal’s democratic movement.
Congress General Secretary Dr. Shashank Koirala remembered Tripathi for the first time while living in Vanaras.
Nepali Congress leader and political thinker Pradip Giri said that Tripathi had a deep connection with Nepal and the Nepali people.
Giri said that Tripathi’s principle was that there should be no geography of revolution. He said that Tripathi had an inner intention to do the revolution in India even if it could not be done in India.
