2,08,700 vaccine against corona sent by Japanese government arrived in Kathmandu

The Japanese government has announced to provide 1,614,740 doses of AstraZeneca  vaccine, of which 2,08,700 doses arrived in Nepal on Saturday. Earlier, 900,000 doses of vaccine have been received.

Kathmandu. Two lakh doses of vaccine against corona sent by the Japanese government have arrived in Kathmandu.

The Japanese government has announced to provide 1,614,740 doses of AstraZeneca  vaccine, of which 2,08,700 doses arrived in Nepal on Saturday. Earlier, 900,000 doses of vaccine have been received.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, 48,11,733 people have been vaccinated since the new government was formed.  Before that, only 3.6 million had been vaccinated against corona.

So far, the total number of Nepalis vaccinated has reached 8,520,421, of which 3,78,688 have been vaccinated with both doses of corona.
