Patna. Shyam Nath Singh, a renowned journalist who was awarded the President’s Vishisht Seva Medal and the founder President of Bihar Press Union, has been nominate as a Organising General Secretary of the India Chapter of the SAARC Journalist Forum.
Ramnath Vidrohi, International Vice President of the Forum, gave this information in a press release. Shree Shyam is known in the field of journalism as SN Shyam. By being active as a working journalist for about 35 years, he has gained fame as a crime reporter in print media as well as in electronic media.
Apart from this, he is also a crime analyst. Along with this, he is also associated with various aspects of social service. Apart from the Chief Warden of Civil Defense Patna, he is a life member of Bihar Red Cross Society and also the Chairman of Rotary Community Crafts (RCC) of Rotary Club.
Vidrohi said that journalists of Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Maldives, Pakistan, Bhutan as well as India are included in the forum. He said that an international conference of journalists from SAARC countries will be held in Delhi in September.
