Terrible floods in Sylhet Bangladesh

In Gowainghat Upazila, 42 shelters have been opened for flood victims.

Dhaka. Due to the steep slopes and continuous rains, floods have occurred again in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Millions of people have been flooded.

It has been raining in Sylhet since dawn on Wednesday (June 15) like last few days. The flood waters are rising.

Meanwhile, thousands of villages, several markets, businesses, educational institutions and roads in Sylhet metropolis, Gowainghat, Companiganj, Jaintapur and Zakiganj upazilas have been submerged in the flood waters.

In Gowainghat Upazila, 42 shelters have been opened for flood victims.
