Corona warrior Lion A Z M Mainul Islam received special honor

Apart from being a youth social worker, he is also a writer, journalist and organizer. At present he is editor of "Crime Protidin" newspaper, Chairman of "Oporadh Muktho Bangladesh Chai (omubaca)" organization, Executive member of "SAARC Journalist Forum" Bangladesh Chapter, "Federation of Bangladesh Journalist Organization (FBJO)".

Dhaka. In December 2019, the coronavirus was first detected in Wuhan, China. Then this deadly virus spread all over the world. In the beginning of March 2020, the infection of the coronavirus was detected in the country.  After that, a terrible situation arose in the whole country.

Starting from ordinary people and those involved in healthcare, there is an unknown fear about Corona.  People became housebound due to the fear of the unseen virus. Famous humanitarian peddler Lion A Z M Mainul Islam Palash then risked his life and distributed free soap, hand sanitizer, mask and Arsenicum Album 30 to prevent covid-19 corona virus.

Apart from being a youth social worker, he is also a writer, journalist and organizer. At present he is editor of “Crime Protidin” newspaper, Chairman of “Oporadh Muktho Bangladesh Chai (omubaca)” organization, Executive member of “SAARC Journalist Forum” Bangladesh Chapter, “Federation of Bangladesh Journalist Organization (FBJO)”.  Organizing secretary, member of “Lion Club International”, President of “Kafrul Press Club”, Vice President of “Mirpur Press Club” and serving in various organizations.

In the difficult times of the pandemic, when people are confined to their homes, avoiding even their loved ones, the famous Lion A Z M Mainul Islam Palash, a peddler of humanity, has set an example of unique humanity. He has received the praise of all people for performing this difficult duty during the Corona period and also received a special award from the Federation of Bangladesh Journalists Organization (FBJO).

Lion AZM Mainul Islam Palash said in a response after receiving the medal of honor, “I have not taken up the task to build illegal wealth of crores of rupees, but to build a crime-free Bangladesh with the love of crores of people”;  “Man for man, let this be man’s religion.”

He also said that it was beyond imagination that such a situation would arise like an epidemic in the whole world. My aim was to serve people in humanitarian disaster. It was my dream since childhood to work for the welfare of people, I am doing it, InshAllah I will do it even before I die.  Everyone pray for me.

It is to be noted that on the said occasion, late Vice Chairman Nazir Ahmad and Joint Secretary General MA Motaleb Hossain family were given posthumous honors and financial support and ten people were given special honors in different categories.

Bangladesh Press Council Chairman Justice Nizamul Haque Nasim was present as the chief guest, Justice Mohammad Momtaz Uddin Ahmed, the former chairman of Bangladesh Press Council was present as the chief speaker, former Joint Secretary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Government was present as a special guest. Dr. Md. Shahadat Hossain and Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka District Md. Shahidul Islam.
