Kathmandu. The first meeting of SAARC Journalist Forum’s Nepal Chapter has formed its 13-membered secretariats today. According to Rupesh Acharya, the Organizational Department Chief of the Chapter, the secretariat, will be led by Chapter’s coordinator Prakash Silwal.
The meeting, held in the presence of Forum’s International President Raju Lama, nominated Organizational Department Chief Rupesh Acharya, Publicity Department Chief Ratna Kaji Maharjan and Economic Department Chief Surendra Bhakta Shrestha as the members of the secretariat.
Likewise, Nripendra Lal Shrestha, Kavita Thapa, Sunil Maharjan and Madhav Tiwari are also nominated as secretariat members. The meeting also decided to fulfill the seat of the remaining five members of the secretariat very soon.
The meeting also decided that the chapter will actively participate in Forum’s upcoming international conference which is going to be held in New Delhi. As per the decision, the secretariat will finalize the name list of the participants from the Nepal chapter.
