Kabul/Amina Azizi. President of SAARC Journalist Forum Afghanistan Chapter Gul Mohammed Gran met with the representative of RSF, Iqbal Khattak, and the head of the Afghanistan National Journalists Union (ANJU) of Afghanistan, Ahmed Shoaib Fana.
In this meeting, coordination, joint work and cooperation of international and domestic institutions were emphasized in solving various problems and in investigating cases of Afghan journalists in Afghanistan and in exile.
In addition, RSF discussed how to investigate the cases of Afghan journalists and asked them to intensify their efforts in this area and work together with domestic institutions to support journalists.
Also, practical mechanisms for all-round support of journalists in Afghanistan and professional, financial and legal support of Afghan journalists in-exile were also discussed.
