Baby Chakraborty, Kolkata. State opposition leader Subvendu Adhikari made an explosive claim when the state politics was stirred up in the RG tax case. He claimed that the family of the deceased doctor was virtually held captive. The local councilor forced the family to put a gun to their heads and say they have confidence in the Chief Minister.
A dharna program was organized by the BJP on Wednesday in protest against the RG tax case. There, a strong political debate has started around this remark of the leader of the opposition party. Opposition leader Shuvendu Adhikari also claimed on this sit-in stage that “Sandeep Ghosh’s sister knew about the scandal. She even knew about drug smuggling in Bangladesh and that is why she had to be killed”.
But this is not the end, there has been an attempt to cover up the incident since the first day. He also made explosive claims that the night roster was torn, CCTV was deleted, blood samples were also changed and viscera was changed.
Soumitra Khan, Dilip Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul, Rahul Sinha and others were present in the dharna program that day. Also, this BJP MLA of Nandigram asked what Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is trying to hide ? He made a sensational allegation that more than one person was involved in the way this woman doctor was raped and killed.
The opposition party leader claimed that a lot of information would be obtained if the Calcutta Police Commissioner was taken into custody and interrogated along with two other police officers. He also demanded to check the call records.
He hailed Mamata Banerjee as a ‘symbol of integrity’ in the RG tax case. Also, Subhendu Adhikari raised the voice of resignation of Chief Minister and said that there is no alternative. State President of BJP and Union Minister of State Dr. Sukant Majumdar, Dilip Ghosh and several other top BJP leaders were present in this dharna program in Shyambazar.
