For the protection of Human Rights, under the Chairmanship of senior journalist Dr. Shashi Bhushan Kumar, President of SAARC Journalist Forum India Chapter, Bihar, the most active international institute among the eight countries of South Asia, at Devchand College located in Hajipur, the district headquarters of Vaishali, the land famous for the first democracy in the country and the world.
Guru Samman Samaroh 2024 was organized by the striving organization Manavadhikar Today. 51 Teachers is awarded by GURU SAMMAN-2024. First It was inaugurated by Padmashree Rajkumari Devi, popularly known as Kisan Chachi, Padmashree Jitendra Kumar Singh, known as a cancer specialist in the country and the world, Padmashree Ashok Kumar ‘Vishwas’, a well-known personality in the field of art, educationist Dr. Pankaj Kumar and Editor of Manavadhikar Today & President of SAARC Journalist Forum India Chapter Bihar, Shashi Bhushan Kumar. The welcome speech was given by educationist Shivalay Rai Emirates, Saraswati Vandana Youth Literature Dr. Surya Prakash Upadhyay and Guru Vandana Lecture by folk musician Saraswati Mishra. In the ceremony, mementos and supplies were awarded to 51 suppliers who did good work in different areas of Bihar. A successful Mahasabha was also organized grandly on this occasion.
The topic of which was – “Importance of Gurus in the era of social media.While introducing the topic, educationist Dr. Pankaj Kumar said that social media is mostly used for information, not for knowledge. The negative narratives being created on social media weaken the society. Teachers will have to be alert and make efforts to reduce its ill effects. JL College professor Dr. Rajneesh Kumar mentioned the positive aspects of social media in his speech and said that there are many platforms whose better use can prove useful for career.Dr. Alok Kumar Singh, professor at DC College, advised teachers to update their technical knowledge with time.
Chief guests of the ceremony, Padmashree Dr. Vimal Jain and Padmashree Rajkumari Devi Kisan Chachi, while congratulating all the teachers for receiving the awards, said that the most prestigious job of the society is to give education. People’s expectation from teachers is to provide education to the last line of the society. Only teachers can spread light.Along with nation building, teachers will also have to build character.
Padmashree Ashok Kumar Biswas also addressed the ceremony and underlined the need for skill development along with education. While delivering the presidential address of the function, senior journalist Shashibhushan Kumar, program coordinator and Editor of Manavadhikar Today, thanked all the guests and congratulated the teachers who were honored and said that it is the responsibility of you to protect us from the ill effects of misuse of social media. It belongs to the teachers.You have to not only guide and regulate controlled use but also be an example yourself. He said that spending more than an hour on social platforms would be suicidal for students. Hearing that Gurujans from all over Bihar were being felicitated in Hajipur, Rosra Samastipur MLA Virendra Kumar also arrived without any notice and praised the organization of the program. He was honored with a shawl and a memento by the chief guest, Dr. Shashibhushan Kumar.
