New species of corona virus has entered Nepal

Kathmandu. It has been confirmed that a new species of corona virus (Covid-19) has entered Nepal.

The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed that a new species of corona virus was found in three people who came from UK in the first week of December.

A spokesman for the health ministry Jageshwar Gautam said that three people had been diagnosed with the new virus. Three who had returned from the UK have a new type of Covid-19.

According to the ministry samples from six people from the UK were sent to a Hong Kong laboratory on December 27 with the help of the World Health Organization (WHO).

A 28-year-old woman, a 67-year-old man and a 32-year-old man have been diagnosed with the new virus, the ministry said.  The virus has been confirmed to be a new virus in the UK.

Stating that the risk of corona remains the same Ministry of Health has urged people to adopt health standards.
