Meeting between PM Oli and JSP Leaders seems positive

According to sources, they have demanded the unconditional release of Resham Chaudhary, who is serving a jail term due to Kailali incident.  Similarly, they have demanded treatment of the injured and unconditional release of their arrested cadres.

Kathmandu. Leaders of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) met the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said the meeting was positive.

The leaders, who arrived to hold talks with Prime Minister Oli, have reminded the Prime Minister of their demands from the past.

According to sources, they have demanded the unconditional release of Resham Chaudhary, who is serving a jail term due to Kailali incident.  Similarly, they have demanded treatment of the injured and unconditional release of their arrested cadres.

Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, Foreign Adviser to the Prime Minister, informed that the issue was entered in today’s meeting and it was agreed to move ahead by discussing it gradually.

“The talks are moving in a positive direction. An informal discussion has taken place today. From tomorrow, the discussion will move forward focusing on the issue, ‘Bhattarai told reporters.

According to a JSP leader who participated in the talks, today’s discussion is over so that discussions can be held at the level of the task force and again with the Prime Minister if necessary.  ”

We are very optimistic about the prime minister this time around,” he said.
