BJP leader Jolly congratulated Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for “Agnipath” Scheme

Dr. Jolly described the "Agnipath" scheme led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh as a revolutionary & magnificent initiative.

New Delhi. Senior BJP Leader Dr. Vijay Jolly today congratulated Defence Minister Rajnath Singh with a bouquet of flowers for the “Agnipath” scheme to recruit 46,000 soldiers to strengthen national security.

Dr. Jolly was accompanied by Bhupendra Kansal & Satindra Kumari on this occasion.

Dr. Jolly described the “Agnipath” scheme led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh as a revolutionary & magnificent initiative.

Whereby youth in the age group of 17 to 21 years will be recruited in the Armed Forces at a salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month.

Dr. Jolly said that this scheme of recruitment for four years shall strengthen Indian security. The recruited soldiers shall be known as “Agniveer”. This plan was approved in the meeting of the Central Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs.

Thereafter, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced the scheme in the presence of Army Chief General Manoj Pandey, Navy Chief Admiral R. Hari Kumar &  Air Force Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary.
