New committee of SAARC Journalist Forum UAE chapter has been announced

Shamsur Rahman Sohel (Arbi) has been elected as the president again in the biennial committee.

Dubai. A new executive committee has been formed for the 2025/2027 term to mobilize the activities of the UAE branch, the SAARC Journalist Forum the uae chapter. Shamsur Rahman Sohel (Arbi) has been elected as the president again in the biennial committee. The 20 members committee has promised to work together for the welfare of the expatriate Bangladeshis and the development of the media.Those who are on the new committee: President Samsur Rahman Sohel (Arbi) (Channel S), Senior Vice President Md. Mozaffar Rezbi (Khaleej Times), Vice President Nasim Uddin Akash (Daily Purbukone), Vice President Mohiul Karim Ashiq (My TV), Vice President Sanjit Kumar Shil (C Plus), Vice President Sagar Chandra Swapan (Swadesh Bichitra), Vice President Fakhar Uddin munna ( jatio arthonitee), General Secretary MD Golam Sarwar (ctnewsbd), Senior Joint Secretary Sarwar Uddin Runi (Q TV), joint Secretary Mohammad salim (Bongo tv), Deputy General Secretary Rashel Ahmed (Daily Alokito Sakal), Organizing Secretary Md.Obaidul Haque (Manik) Bayanno tv, Office Secretary Shariful Islam (Daily Chandpur Kantha), Publicity and Publication Secretary Md. Arif Hossain (Dhaka Pratidin), Sports Editor Ashak Nipun (Barta24), Finance Editor Mamunur Rashid (Sangram Pratidin), Religious Affairs Editor Mahmud Alam (Swadhin Desh), Information and Technology Editor Joynal Abedin (Nandito TV), Cultural Editor Md. Redwan (Sangbad Pratidin), Expatriate Welfare Editor Ruhul Amin (Daynik Banglar Odhikar).

Leaders of the committee said that integrated plans with the Bangladesh Embassy will be adopted to facilitate the service of expatriate Bangladeshis. The organization will work to keep the country’s reputation intact and to play an active role with the help of helpless expatriates. Leaders have promised that they will play a strong role in protecting the rights of the media. They also vowed to maintain the aspect of morality and responsibility in the news service and concerned that the activities of the organization will be further dynamic through the new committee.
