Hundreds of monks will attend Republic Day of India

Abhijeet Halder Director General of International Buddhist Confederation today urge to convey the message of peace, wisdom and compassion to the media persons stating India is always for world peace.

New Delhi. More than 200 monks from 40 countries will intend to attend Republic Day of India to convey message of world peace. International Buddhist Confederation informed today by doing press conference in Bharat Mandapam during 2nd Global Buddhist Summit.

Abhijeet Halder Director General of International Buddhist Confederation today urge to convey the message of peace, wisdom and compassion to the media persons stating India is always for world peace.“India is one of the most powerful country around world and have strong military presence but conflict is not a solution so India wants to tell world community that India always stands for peaceful by following path of Buddha as our Prime Minister Narendra Modi always use to tell,” Halder said.

Hundreds of monks from various countries are here in New Delhi to participate 2nd Global Buddhist Summit and IBC initiated to attend the monks in Republic Day of India. 

All the preparation to celebrate 77th Republic Day of India has been already made and President Council of the European Union António Costa and President of European Commission Ursula von der Leyen will be the Chief Guests to celebrate the Republic Day of India.
