Meeting of SAARC Journalist Forum Bangladesh Chapter has been held in Dhaka

SJF Central Committee Secretary General Md. Abdur Rahman was present as the chief guest. In the meeting, Md. Abdur Rahman spoke about the various topics of the international seminar held in Delhi, especially the success of the conference.

Dhaka. A meeting was held at North Badda temporary office of SAARC Journalist Forum Bangladesh Chapter today, Wednesday 25th January at 4 pm.

President of Bangladesh Chapter Abul Kalam Azad presided over the meeting, senior journalist Md. Kamal Hossain moderated.SJF Central Committee Secretary General Md. Abdur Rahman was present as the chief guest.
In the meeting, Md. Abdur Rahman spoke about the various topics of the international seminar held in Delhi, especially the success of the conference.

At the seminar in Delhi, the name of Bangladesh was announced as the organizer of the international conference in Dhaka next year 2024.

Discussions were held on how to successfully complete the conference held in Dhaka next year.
Finally the following decisions are approved.

1) 21-25 February 2023 (subject to hall allocation) Full Committee Introductory meeting and celebration of International Mother Language Day at Bangladesh Press Council.

2) Formation of full committee with 21 members before next 21st February.

3) Next Thursday night 10.00 Zoom meeting.

4) A 7-member event celebration sub-committee was announced.

b) Member Secretary: Lion A Z M Mainul Islam
c) Member (Finance): Md. Ismat Doha
d) Member: Tapu Ghoshal
e) Member: Salahuddin
f) Member: M Akram
g) Member: Advocate Alamgir HossainSJF Bangladesh General Secretary Najma Sultana Neela and other journalists spoke wishing the success of the international conference held in Dhaka next year.

Tapu Ghoshal, editor of Taja Khabar from Bangladesh and Md Abdur Rahman, editor of Hello Dhaka News/Trinomul Barta participated in the international conference held in Delhi. SJF Bangladesh chapter leaders welcomed them with flowers in today’s meeting.
