Kathmandu. Rudra Subedi, a member of the Nepal Chapter, has been appointed as the coordinator of the conference preparation committee and Mohammad Arif Ansari as the co-convenor for the preparation of the first session of the Nepal Chapter of the SAARC Journalist Forum.The first convention will be held in Lumbini province.
President of Nepal Chapter Prakash Silwal informed that the Zoom Meeting of Nepal Chapter held in the presence of International President of SAARC Journalist Forum Raju Lama and General Secretary Mohammad Abdur Rahman decided it.
“The first convention of Nepal Chapter of SAARC Journalist Forum will be organized in Lumbini Province. For its preparation, Subedi, a member of Nepal Chapter, has been designated as coordinator and Ansari as co-coordinator. The date and place of the convention will be decided within a few days,” Silwal said.
Chairman Silwal said that in the first convention, members of Nepal Chapter and international journalists will participate in the conference, which is expected to be a starting point for discussions about the role played by SAARC Journalist Forum for the national and international issues, problems and solutions of journalists.
