Kathmandu. SAARC Journalist Forum, SJF is an international journalists organization which raises voice for peace, humanity, rights of journalists, press and expression freedom in the SAARC region.
SJF nominated Pranab Sarkar, editor of Headlines Tripura National as a convener of Tripura States of India Chapter.
SJF hope he will successfully conduct his responsibility as a convener of Tripura States of India Chapter and will work for fulfil the objectives of organization.
Pranab Sarkar was awarded recently at the award ceremony took place at the Taj Hotel in Guwahati, where renowned actor Sharman Joshi presented the honor.
This recognition is particularly significant as only a few editors from the North East’s electronic media have achieved such award.
Sarkar, a veteran journalist, also President of Agortola Press Club, also so serves as the president of the Tripura Football Association, reflecting his diverse contributions to the region.
