Hajipur. The Ninth International Karate Championship 2025, which was held from 25 July to 27 July at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata.
In which Prince of Vaishali defeated players from Nepal, Malaysia and China and Prince Kumar won the Gold Medal in the +84 kg weight category at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata.
Apart from Prince, in the junior category from Vaishali, Janvi Roy won Silver in the -61 kg weight category, Ananya Rai won Silver medal in the +35 kg weight category. And Sunny Kumar won Bronze medal in the +70 kg weight category and Aaradhya won Bronze medal in the -35 kg weight category and brought laurels to the entire district.
As soon as all the players returned to Vaishali, they were welcomed by Dr. Shashi Bhushan Kumar, the President of SAARC Journalist Forum Bihar and Director of the school, who is known for human rights journalism in the country and the world, in the Tagore Kids & High School Sabhagar in Hajipur city by offering bouquets, garlands and shawls.
They were also given sweets by feeding them laddus. Film and TV show choreographer Mukesh Shirodkar, team manager Anshika, school principal Pinky Kumari, singer Kundan Krishna, teacher Sushmita Sinha and parents of all the players were present on the occasion. Everyone was very happy and they congratulated the players.
