Washington. Karoline Leavitt has shared the first glimpse of her newborn daughter’s nursery after announcing the birth of her second child, Viviana, nicknamed “Vivi.”
Leavitt revealed that baby Vivi was born on May 1 and described her as “perfect and healthy.” The photos posted on social media showed the White House press secretary holding her daughter inside a softly decorated pink nursery featuring pastel tones, baby furniture, and personalized décor.
The 28-year-old, who became the first White House press secretary to give birth while serving in office, said her family is “enjoying every moment” with the new arrival. Her son, Niko, is also “joyfully adjusting” to having a baby sister.
Leavitt began maternity leave in late April but briefly returned to work during a major White House security incident before officially stepping away again. During her leave, other administration officials are expected to rotate through press briefings.
Recent reports and social media posts highlighted the nursery’s all-pink design and cozy family atmosphere, drawing widespread attention online.
