Pokhara. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said there could be a physical attack on him. At a gathering of Gandaki state level cadres of the Communist Party of Nepal (NCP) held in Pokhara on Monday, Prime Minister Oli expressed fears of a physical attack on him.  He says that he may be attacked as the country is moving forward at a fastly on the path of development.

Oli also claimed that the government was trying to develop in a planned manner. He also informed that talks would be held with the rebel Maoists soon.  Stating that domestic and foreign enemies are conspiring seriously, he accused the government of repeatedly attacking by them.

Prime Minister Oli said the attack was being carried out while the government was standing to defend the country’s sovereignty, independence, geographical integrity and national interest. He also reiterated the government’s determination to achieve the national resolution of prosperous Nepal, happy Nepalis in any way. Stating that the future of the country and the party should not be allowed to go up and down, he also instructed the cadres not to bow down against regression.

On the occasion, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa urged the Dahal-Nepal group to withdraw the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister and help in party unity.  He also said that this was the last chance for Prachanda and Nepal to come together. Thapa also said that the court’s decision has given an opportunity to the opportunists.
