New York. The 25th session of Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA) commence today at the United Nations Headquarters, convening leading global experts, senior policymakers, and institutional representatives to deliberate on strengthening governance systems and advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Organized under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, the session will run through April 17, focusing on enhancing public sector effectiveness, promoting institutional resilience, and fostering inclusive governance frameworks in an era of rapid global transformation.

This year’s discussions are centered on rebuilding trust in public institutions, accelerating digital governance, and ensuring accountable and transparent administrative systems. Experts are expected to provide strategic recommendations aimed at supporting member states in implementing sustainable and equitable governance models worldwide.
The session has drawn participation from government delegations, international organizations, civil society leaders, and global policy specialists, reflecting the growing urgency of collaborative approaches to public administration challenges.
