Oslo. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store in Oslo during his Europe visit.
Both leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation in green energy, climate change, shipping, and trade. India and Norway also announced a new “Green Strategic Partnership.”
PM Modi said dialogue and diplomacy are important for global peace and added that military action alone cannot solve conflicts.
The meeting is considered historic as it marks the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Norway in more than 40 years.
